The aim of this master class is to equip participants with an understanding of the regulatory environment in Europe with regards to the protection of intellectual property rights. To this end, after analysing the tools currently available, different case studies will be discussed to highlight the changing role of intellectual property according to the different stages of the investment (early or late) and the different phases of the investment cycle (due diligence, holding period, exit).
